The $1 Dress...

Yes indeed, this lovely and sweet floral dress (with matching bloomers) only cost $1 and some change at Carter's! "How" you ask? Well I will tell you, I spent enough money during my previous splurge (ahem, I mean visit) to earn a $10 gift certificate, and what do you know, Carter's has continued on with their 50% off everything sale! I am beginning to wonder if they ever charge full price??? ;)

Gratitude, Take 2

I am in LOVE with my three doggies! I can't help it, they are so cute and snuggly. They get along with each other, they don't shed, they don't eat furniture and they have left the Christmas tree and presents alone (they have messed with Dan's miniature Christmas village, not that bad!). Our oldest cherub, Brody the Bichon Frise turns 2 the day after Christmas - our baby has grown so fast! Look for pictures from his party next week! :) He is getting a custom cake from Three Dog Bakery because he deserves it!

We received two packages in the mail today and I was very excited until I realized they were both for the dogs! Grandma and Grandpa Colligan from North Carolina sent some presents and so did fellow four-legged family member Cousin Chloe from Kansas. They are raking in the gifts this year, but they deserve it and more for all the joy they bring to us!!!

During this holiday season I find myself reflecting on how grateful I am for everything I have. My family and husband, my health, financial security, great friends, and most of all, I am grateful...
That my dogs weigh less than 20 pounds each! They might smother me otherwise! :)

Snoopy Doggies

Dan and I took our three little babies to see Santa on Saturday at PetsMart and decided they were pretty good this year (no one is perfect!), so we went ahead and bought them their Christmas presents. While I acknowledge they are all little geniuses, I knew they had no clue what we were doing. When we got home, I put the bag on a table in my office and forgot all about it until tonight...

I had just arrived home from a business trip and decided to use Dan's computer in his office rather than boot up my laptop in my office. Just as I was checking e-mail I heard a very loud SQUEAK! SQUEAK! Wondering what was going on, I went out to the living room only to find all three little lovebugs fighting over one of their Christmas toys! The little snoopies went into my office, on the table, into the bag and helped themselves to an early Christmas gift! The gift was really mine because my heart warmed seeing their little tails wagging in the wind simultaneously at 100 miles per hour. We bought one of those toys for each of them but they will have to wait until Christmas to enjoy!

The Saga Continues!

Here we go again! I was in the same shopping plaza where Carter's is and thought I would "just take a peek". What do you know? Everything was STILL 50% OFF! These were all great buys and so lovely!

Here is a darling pink and white sundress with matching panties.

Here is a darling vibrant red romper with matching panties. I believe red will be our daughter's signature color - should be AMAZING with her dark hair and eyes! :)

And finally, the practical side took over and told me she won't need a cute dress everyday, some days we will just lounge around! So here are some onesies with matching pants. The top onesie says "Daddy's Little Princess" because we all know what's coming! Hee! Hee!

More Clothes for the Honey Pot!

OK, I know we have a long wait ahead of us, but a force greater than me pulled me into Carter's for a 50% off everything sale last weekend! As my Mother says about good deals, "You can't go wrong!". Well, let me say this, if buying these adorable clothes for our baby is wrong, I don't want to be right! :)

Outfit #1 is a darling overall jumper with matching panties, onesie and cropped cardigan. Notice the ladybug patten!

Outfit #2 is capri pants with a sweater tank!

Outfits #3 through 7 are pink onesies for everyday wear (in style!).

I may have to start another blog just to feature clothes and gifts! Hee! Hee!
